Stop
for just a minute! Look at your life! Does it seem to you, like you have been
"planted" in one spot forever? Unable to move from that spot? Well,
we will learn a valuable thing today regarding being planted. Have you noticed,
that EVERYTHING that gets planted, has been ordered by God to "grow"
right where it has been planted UNTIL it has reached God's desired outcome? Ex:
a flower seed must "remain" in that spot until the beauty of its
maturation has come; and a food seed must "remain" where planted
until it has reached a place in which it is ready to give nourishment to those
who partake of it...So, it only makes sense that God would REQUIRE us to grow
where HE plants us, being that He is our creator!
Blooming where God has planted you is not only for "your" benefit! As a matter of fact it is for the benefit of others! When God calls us to become a part of His Kingdom, it is because he needs "workers" to help fulfill his mission of bringing lives to this Kingdom. What he needs you and I to do, is to become strong resemblances of Him, so that people can ultimately find their way to Salvation. Becoming like Him involves hard work! It involves going through the fire; it involves taking difficult circumstances and bringing them under the authority of God; it means having the strength to bloom in the most difficult situations, no matter what!!
Others must be able to see you bloom in times of adversity, in order for them to even begin to understand the God, behind that strength! We must be in a position to help to give nourishment (encouragement) to those who are in need, and if hard stony places, can keep us from being useful to the Kingdom, then of what need are we, to Him that has called us? We must dedicate ourselves to being able to thrive in a "thrive-less" world!!
If you are planted in unemployment; allow God to "grow" you while you have that extra time off!! Someone is going to need to know how to cope with unemployment!!
If you are planted in a difficult marriage; take some time and seek God for ways that YOU can make things better, while praying for the spouse that ONLY God can change anyway!! Someone is going to need you to testify of how God is keeping your marriage in spite of its difficulties!!
If you have found yourself planted in sickness; begin to thank God for your healing and remind Him of all of His promises on healing, and never let go of what he has promised in his Word! Someone is going to need you to tell them about the "joy" that God has planted down in your soul, that gives you the strength to praise him in your sickness, while trusting Him for your healing!!
Allowing Jesus to "show up" in the midst of trying circumstances, takes true faith and never failing assurance that GOD is able to do all things, but fail!!!! Find contentment in your PRESENT situation, because God is doing a work in you and needs for you to remain planted until His desired outcome has been accomplished!
God we thank you for all of the benefits that will come as a result of our being planted in THIS season. Knowing that your perfect will is being established in our lives!! Lord, when you have planted us in a difficult place! We only ask that you give us the strength to "BLOOM" right where you have planted us!
